Fiji Passports are issued to those who would have acquired Fiji citizenship through birth, registration and naturalization.

Requirements

  • Original Passport (will be returned upon finishing of the biometrics registration)
  • Original / Certified Copy of Birth Certificate
  • Original / Certified Copy of Marriage Certificate (for female applicants only)
  • ID cards ( FRCS/FNPF Joint Card, Voter ID, Driving License, Old Passport Book )
  • Legal Immigration Status in Country of Residence
  • Deed Poll for change of name
  • Statutory Declaration Form

  • Original Adoption Papers & Legal Guidance Documents
  • Divorced Papers ( If Divorced )

Please note that the Embassy’s visitors are required to have a negative result of COVID-19 PCR test taken not more than 48 hours.

Minors (below 12 years) are exempted from submission of biometrics and their e-passport application can be made as per the below requirements.

  • Duly-filled Passport Application Form
  • Two Colored and Recent Passport-size Photos (with clear background)
  • Certified Copy of Birth Certificate
  • Certified Copies of Parents Passports or Birth Certificates
  • Request Letter

Minor’s application documents to be sent via courier to the following address:

To apply for a waiver of biometrics (under special circumstances only), please send your application request by email to aco@fijiemb.ae and
secondsecretary@fijiemb.ae with clean scans (PDF) of the following documents (payment of fees only after receiving Immigration’s approval for waiver)

  1. Duly-filled passport application form;
  2. Colored recent passport-size photo with clear background;
  3. Copy of passport bio-data page;
  4. Certified true copy of birth certificate;
  5. Copy of current visa of the country of residence;
  6. Signature of the applicant on a clear blank paper (with dark ink pen) and
  7. Letter of consent to authorize the Embassy to lodge and pick the passport.

Requirements to apply for extension of passport (under special circumstances only).

  1. Duly-filled passport application form;
  2. Two colored recent passport-size photos with clear background;
  3. Current passport book;
  4. Copy of current visa of the country of residence;
  5. Certified true-copy of birth certificate and
  6. Duly-filled and certified Statutory declaration form.

2. Certificate of Identity (C.I.)

C.I. is issued to Fiji Citizens whose passports have expired / are lost and need to travel only to Fiji on emergency cases. C.I. is valid for only one year and is non-renewable. Moreover, it is issued to an applicant once only.

  • Duly-filled Passport Application Form
  • Three Colored and Recent Passport-size Photos (with clear background)
  • Certified Copy of Passport / Birth Certificate
  • Certified Copy of Visa / ID (both sides) from Country of Residence
  • Request Letter OR Police Report & Statutory Declaration Form (if lost passport
